Do you know what to do if a disaster hits? 

Emerco Manufacturing has put together some guidelines to assist you, no matter what part of the country you are in or what type of disaster you may be faced with.   We hope you will find this information useful and to assist you, your family, friends and business.

Also, don’t forget to view our “Medication List”.  Just print and fill in your personal information.  This tool is invaluable not only during disasters, but anytime.  Give to family members or a new physician you may have – you never have to remember what medications you are taking!

No matter what the disaster, create a disaster plan:

v     Pick two (2) meeting places: 

o       1. A place a safe distance from your home.

o       2. A place outside your neighborhood in case you can’t return home.

v     Choose an out-of-town friend as a “check-in” contact for everyone to call.  Memorize that person’s number, and keep your cell phone charged.

v     Have your emergency “Disaster Kit” ready to go, just adding necessary items.

v     Have your "Medication List" ready – it will also assist you in making sure you have all the necessary medications.
